I wanted to say thanks to Martha, Debra and Laura for helping me out. I didn't have much luck on my own. Pretty much the places just wanted my parents to visit; once they found out my parents weren't likely to move in soon and weren't in the St Louis area they pretty much blew me off. But I forwarded your suggestions on to her. Maybe she'll have more luck as the actual prospective resident.
