Pack your picnic basket and join Dan and Debra at Blumenhof Winery in Dutzow, Missouri, for wine, food, and music in a bucolic setting. The band playing is Augusta Bottoms Consort . Their website includes a link to hear samples of their music. These people are amazing--they play about 20+ different instruments between the four of them--and all can sing well. Their set is from 2:00 to 5:00, but we plan to get there early to have a leisurely lunch and stake out a good table.
If you don't want to pack a picnic, various kinds of grilled goodies are available from a kiosk on the winery grounds. At the end of the afternoon, those who would like to do so may join us at our home in Webster Groves for burgers and hot dogs (what else on the Fourth?). And if you stay later, you're welcome to walk down to Memorial Park for the fireworks.
