The traditional dinner before book club.
It's been a while but this won't be the first time we've gone to Simply Thai, a very small but very tasty Thai restaurant in Florissant! Housed in a converted Taco Bell, they might have one of the longest menu sections devoted to fried rice of any restaurant I've ever seen! They also have a great selection of appetizers, soups, salads, noodles (stir-fried, soup, or dry) and "normal" stir-fried entrees! Plenty of vegetarian choices, too, as well as some outstanding "special" dishes.
All non-smoking, very inexpensive, and no problem with separate checks; plus it's only a few minutes from the restaurant to Elaine's place for the book club meeting. Can't be beat! The restaurant is on the south side of Hwy 67 (Lindbergh) just west of New Hall's Ferry, so it's easy to find.
Attendance limited to book club attendees.
